Refers to the Joumon Period, a Japanese era that endured for more than 10,000 years. It was a time when people lived in harmony with nature, embracing its gifts with gratitude, while cultivating a peaceful society with little conflict. This fostered a peaceful culture rich in creativity and artistic expression.

- SATOYAMA -

Is the name given to the traditional japanese rural landscapes, which are environments shaped by the harmonious coexistence of humanity and nature, which can still be found throughout Japan.

Drawing on this heritage, JOUZAN CHAYA reimagines the essence of satoyama through art, architecture, gardens, and the surrounding natural landscape. Inspired by the free spirit of the Joumon people and the beauty of the changing seasons, it offers a place where nature, design, and culture come together in a truly unique experience .
